Here is the whole process, no fine print: what you do, what Tesora does and how long each step takes. At the end you have the map of what you own: what you have, where it is, and who should find it.

This is the heart of the process. You answer block by block, in any order you want, and nothing stops you: every item gives you three ways out, and all three are valid.
You write it down and that line is closed.
You note where it is and move on. Nobody sends you hunting for a paper mid-session.
That's an answer too. It becomes a concrete pending item, with where to look for it.
If you want, the tool can read your ID or your certificates to fill in fields and avoid typos. It's optional: the image is sent to our artificial intelligence provider, which keeps it up to 30 days for security, and Tesora does not store it. You can always type everything in by hand: the result is identical. How we handle your information.
Your file assembles itself from what you captured. And your documents live in your own Google Drive account, not on Tesora's servers. Folders named so someone else can understand them without you.
You designate who should find the map and what each person sees. And if you decide to give it legal weight, you take the package to your notary office. Tesora organizes. The notary certifies.
Your inventory, on its own, is not a will and has no legal effect by itself. Notarial acts and fees are paid directly to the notary office. The participating notary offices program is in progress and its status is public on the feature status page.

What gets inventoried, how the notary office certifies, and what your family receives. Unhurried, with examples.

This is the order your map gets built in. The first is your basic personal data; the last, what isn't money. You can start with whichever one feels most urgent.
Your basic data: full name, CURP, where you live, marital status and property regime, your parents. It's what the notary office asks for first and what holds up the most signatures. Ten minutes and you never hunt for it again.
Who your people are: partner, children, anyone in your care. Who depends on you today and who has rights over what you built.
Your wishes, in your words: who receives what and in what share, what happens if someone passes before you, and whether anything has a specific recipient. If your case doesn't fit the standard mold, it gets captured anyway and that part comes out flagged for your notary office to draft. No wording is ever invented.
Your executor and their substitute: who collects, distributes, closes and hands over. And the question almost nobody answers right: does that person already know, and did they accept? If there are minors, also who takes care of them.
The inventory itself: everything you own, roughly what it's worth and whether anyone else knows where its papers are. Also what subtracts: debts, loans you've co-signed and surety bonds. Your family should receive the complete map.
What protection you have contracted, with whom, who is listed to collect it and whether that list is still current. It sits apart from the division because it pays directly to whoever is listed, not according to the will. This is also where you record how much your household needs per month to keep going as it does.
Your alert circle — the two or three people who would hear quickly — and whoever handles your books and your legal matters. They stay yours: Tesora doesn't switch your accountant or your notary office. It records them so your executor doesn't start from zero.
Where your photos and videos live, what you want done with your accounts and profiles, and your Love Letter: what doesn't fit in an inventory. It's a personal letter, never a legal document, and it's the only part of all this your family will read more than once.

Inside the guided inventory
When you don't know what to put, you ask. The Arquitecto (the Architect) goes with you inside the guided inventory: it tells you which documents a house usually has besides the deed, or what to record about an online store without putting anything at risk.
It doesn't replace the guided inventory. A conversation with the Arquitecto is not your inventory: the inventory comes out of the 8 blocks. And it's not legal or tax advice — that you settle with your notary office and your own people.

That's why the order matters. The will says to whom. The inventory says what and where. One divides; the other locates. Without the second, your family doesn't inherit assets: they inherit a search.
